Battery overheating: Packard Bell recalls some laptops

Packard Bell, bought by Acer there almost two years, said yesterday that some of its notebook EasyNote had defective batteries. The computers in question are the EasyNote MX36, MX37, MX51 and MX52.
According to Packard Bell, these four PCs have been sold primarily in Europe and none in the United States. Only machines designed between July and December 2007 are affected by this recall.
The subsidiary of Acer said that its batteries can cause a risk of overheating or fire making. A classic case.
Those involved can get on this page dedicated to the problem or contact the hotline of Packard Bell so that it replaces your battery charge.
Packard Bell recommends noting the serial number of the battery containing 32 characters, and the serial number of the computer, which contains 12 characters.
