RIM: software for BlackBerry sync with OSX

Research In Motion aka RIM, the maker of BlackBerry phones, will publish tomorrow a software intended for owners of these products are also Mac users. An application called Desktop Manager, dedicated to the synchronization of data to these phones.
An interface is very clear, very much in line with the iTunes organization: RIM has worked on integration. Side functionality, you will find everything:
Sync events to iCal
Sync contacts from Address Book
Sync with Entourage, the email client of Office for Mac
Adding and removing applications
Management Software Updates
Setting up automatic backups
Data Encryption Backup
The BlackBerry Desktop Manager includes Media Sync, which will allow users to sync iTunes music collections. RIM also says that the files will be copied on the phone with all their metadata, including album art. Note, however, files protected by DRM are not supported, such as the pre-iTunes +.
The software will be available tomorrow, Friday, October 2nd, at 19:00 French time. It is by cons necessary to have at least version 10.5.5 of Leopard or Snow Leopard.
