With Kinomap, connect the video from a trip with Google Maps

The French company based in ExcelLance Douai (59) had the brilliant idea to launch Kinomap a free service that allows Google Maps to link to any video of a trip, whether performed on foot, in vehicles (motorized or not), on land, air, water (not too deeply), by a human being or even a pet why not. While the journey was filmed and is geolocation, everything is possible with this "mash-up (almost).

Here are several examples among the few hundred videos currently available:
- Line 1 of Metro Lille
- a small flight of 7.4 km Gaillac
- 500 m in the North to back ... dog
- clip "baby, baby, baby" manually traced by the team Kinomap (Paris)
- 500 m walk at Douai
- 16 km in the North by car
To publish your videos Kinomap, you simply have a camera (camcorder, smartphone, APN, webcam, etc..) And a datalogger or the safeguarding your GPS route with precision.
Then you should use Kinomap Uploader, a free software available on the website and can synchronize the video with GPS coordinates, and upload everything on the server application.

An iPhone application has been proposed to Apple and is awaiting validation has given us. the publisher. An Android application is also in development.
The purpose of this "Super Street View" is of course not to be filmed while driving at 200 km / hsur a small country road, but rather to propose various paths in order to benefit the community. The site is open to the world (a video in Australia is already visible), and the videos are hosted on Kinomap, not YouTube or Dailymotion.
